Remember the hit movie, Sgt. Bilko? It told the story of an incompetent, inept, and chaotic sergeant who always managed to find himself at the center of a self-inflicted crisis. Our Prime Minister has more in common with Sargent Bilko, but the similarities aren’t as funny for the Australian people. Albo’s Christ-like intentions, while admirable in a very shallow sense, have been driven by a delusional quest to rid Australia of environmental destruction. He wanted to provide Aboriginal Australians with a voice, and wanted to thousands of migrants from the third world, but his gross mismanagement of the Australian tax paying dollar perhaps necessitates a discussion as to whether we should have a say in where our tax paying dollar goes.
The Albanese government has pledged $880 million in funding to support Ukraine in its war against Russia. That amounts to almost one billion dollars of the Australian taxpayer dollar. Furthermore, the Albanese government’s insistence on bringing in thousands of Ukrainian refugees beggars belief. Since 2022, more than 11,000 Ukrainian refugees have entered Australia. Under visa 786 Ukrainians can work, study, and access full and unrestricted Medicare. The government also initiated a process for obtaining citizenship for Ukrainians wishing to apply.
Your tax paying dollar is also going to fund gender reassignment surgery. After the green light was given by the Albanese government, Medicare now covers certain gender reassignment surgeries. Under the scheme, your tax-paying dollar will now fund individuals who wish to go under the knife and surgically change genders.
Remember the revolutionary Aboriginal voice to parliament campaign? It was supposed to give indigenous Australians a voice, but after Australia voted against it, the result wasn’t even close, with 60% of Australians voting against it. Assuming he had a pulse on the Australian people cost Albo. It also cost the Australian taxpayer. The referendum racked up a bill of $450 million.
On the other front, the government also announced a $76 million investment in electric cars, as the push to encourage Australians to transition to electric cars has already been underway.
We are fighting ‘climate change’ and killing ourselves in the process. The Albanese government has created an ecologically and ideologically driven bureaucratic body known as ‘Environment Information Australia’, a body dedicated to providing information and reporting on ‘environmental goals’. The feat will cost Australian taxpayers $51.5 million.
Perhaps we need to hold a referendum on where our tax paying dollars ought to go. Or does the government get to decide it all?
Albo just announced a $2 billion commitment to social housing. And, Australians are quite literally paying for his open arms immigration policy. The rabid influx of migrants coming to live in Australia is ever increasing. In NSW alone, 22% of migrant families are on waiting lists for social housing. This group includes asylum seekers, refugees, and people on special humanitarian visas.
Albanese said:
The $2 billion Social Housing Accelerator payment will be delivered to States and territories within the next two weeks and will deliver thousands of new social rental homes across the country.
“Every Australian deserves the security of a roof over their head, and my Government is taking steps to deliver more homes around the country.
“I met with every Premier and Chief Minister about this proposal yesterday, and we all agree securing more housing for more Australians is a key national priority.’
Australia is on its knees, Albo. As the cost of living rises and Australians suffer, Labour’s delusional economic master plans have revealed themselves for what they are, cheap pieces of political trickery.
