Trump won’t sizzle in the pressure cooker

There’s one thing often missed when discussing Trump: Whether loved or hated, his ability to handle pressure is unlike anything we have ever seen.

Like Caesar entering the Roman Colosseum before the Gladiatorial Games, Donald Trump entered the Kaseya Centre in Miami to thunderous applause. Accompanied by UFC President, Dana White, tens of thousands of fans in the stadium erupted when Trump made his way to ringside.

It resembled a scene from The Goodfellas, Trump’s entourage escorted him to ringside as thousands erupted in applause.

His enemies lambast, and demean him. His supporters laud his politically death defying efforts

That he has withstood the firestorm of assaults from a weaponized judiciary, the mainstream media, and his political opponents is nothing short of remarkable.

Trump’s uncanny ability to defy the odds is remarkable

Others would have succumbed to pressure or pulled out. In light of allegations against him including, treason ,sexual assault, and Russian collusion, the ‘Don’ has not once buckled under pressure. Whether loved or hated, his ability to handle everything thrown at him is unlike any other figure in recent memory.

The weaponized justice system

In May 2024, Trump was found guilty of sexual abuse and defaming author Jean E. Carroll. Carroll, who came forward in 2019, claiming that Trump raped her in 1996. Trump, who vehemently denied the charges throughout, was found guilty of sexual abuse and defamation’ and ordered to pay $5,000,000 in damages by a New York jury and then a further $83,300,000.

Despite no witnesses, no DNA evidence, the fact that the alleged incident was beyond the statute of limitations, the 2022 Survivors Act in New York enabled Carroll to sue for the ‘assault’.

Just before the RNC primaries commenced , Trump was ordered by a New York judge in 2024 to pay $454,200000 million for ‘manipulating’ his net worth.

Concurrently, he also faces four other court cases across the U.S. In New York, he is accused of making ‘hush money payments’ to film star, Stormy Daniels. In Florida, Trump is accused of keeping classified documents after leaving the White House, an accusation which he denies. Trump also faces a federal case in Washington, he is accused of ‘interfering’ with a peaceful transfer of power after his 2020 election loss. The indictment alleges that Trump ‘knowingly spread lies that there was ‘election fraud’ committed by the DNC. Finally, Trump faces a federal case in Georgia where he is accused of conspiracy to commit forgery and conspiracy to commit false statements, among other alleged charges.

Many a man would have succumbed to lesser allegations, court cases, and charges

Yet, despite all the naysayers, the federal cases, and the efforts of the mainstream media to demonize Trump, he has walked through hot coal to keep his political hopes alive.

Currently, Trump owes $500,000,000 in legal fines and interest

And yet, he has still fought ardently to become the GOP nominee. Despite all of his legal woes, attacks from the mainstream media, Trump just secured the GOP nomination by a landslide. With 1,215 delegates, the Republican Party has just nominated Donald Trump to run against Biden for the presidency.

But his comfort in uncomfortable situations didn’t just begin recently

The ‘Don’ is no stranger to the barrage of relentless pressures, accusations, and a lieu of character assassinations from his opponents and sworn enemies. It’s a lesson he learned the hard way in his first term as president.

The mainstream media, like sirens, argued that he’s too unstable and unpredictable in his impulsive ways. The more extreme elements within the left wing media suffered from a bout of Trump derangement syndrome, arguing he wasn’t fit to ‘be in charge of nuclear weapons’.

The obvious counterargument to this would be that Trump is just a ‘racist, narcissistic, attention-seeking, sociopathic, power-driven, billionaire criminal’, his harshest detractors would argue.

Has there been any history of conspiracies against Trump?

The answer is yes. The DNC and the Clinton Foundation were ordered to pay a $108,000 and $8,000 fine, respectively, for funding the ‘Steele dossier’, a document that later formed the basis of the Russia collusion allegation against Trump.

Lets not forget that a senior FBI analyst recently testified that the FBI offered Steele over $1,000,000 to corroborate the claims made in the dossier.

The choice in 2024 will be between a sitting president, Joe Biden, who struggles to remember what day it is, and Trump, who, despite his flaws, imperfections, and political naivety, has gripped the attention of a significant number of the American population who believe he can bring back the nation from the brink of collapse.

Trump has undergone a baptism by fire since entering the world of politics. Whether he’s loved or hated, none have faced as much pressure as the Don.
